Mapex

The Mapex Drum Company continues to move forward with their innovative product designs and huge range of tuning. That is the reason I have been playing with Mapex for most of my professional career. I still remember the first time I saw a Mapex drum kit in a shop in the early 2000’s, and seeing some of my favorite artists playing Mapex drums on TV. In 2010, I became the proud owner of a Mapex Orion series (Maple). It was one of the best sounding drum sets I have ever played. When I came to the USA, I needed a set that would fit my budget. I bought a Mapex Mars series (Birch) because of the surprising quality and value in this price range. By far, the best choice I could have made!
A few years later, I was fortunate to join the Mapex family as a USA artist and became the proud owner of a Mapex Saturn V series (Walnut/Maple), as well as a good selection of Black Panther series snare drums. The Maple and Walnut hybrid shell produces a strong attack and a rich tone that projects well in live settings and tracks perfectly in the studio. It’s the classic Saturn sound, and I am happy to be able to use it!

R stick

I have been a proud R-Stick endorser since 2009. In that year, I designed the personal signature drumsticks that have been a mainstay in my professional career. These custom models were my first official product endorsement, and I continue to support their superior product to this day.
For my professional drumming, I chose Hickory and Hornbeam wood. The custom signature models are printed with my personal logo, which was designed by Petros Diamantoglou and Manos Saloustros. Due to the high quality wood and the endless customization options, I use 3 different variations with a slightly lacquered finish:

Soultone

Soultone is a high quality cymbal company with a huge variety of cymbals. My favorite part is that I can play any music genre I want and still have this great cymbal sound. The pitch, the color and the characteristic sound of my cymbals blends wonderfully in every situation.

Cympad

For my performances, I use Optimizers, Moderators and Chromatics series.
Cympad has been an incredible tool and has helped me explore my sound throughout the small details. Every little thing matters when it comes down to studio recordings, sound through microphones or just room sound conditions. I always carry a Moderator Box with my equipment. It has shaped my sound and helps me to “fit in” everywhere without limitations.
